Born in Kingston, Jamaica, Fredlocks immigrated to Canada as a child. He is a multi-instrumentalist who has studied piano, clarinet, saxophone and guitar, an accomplished recording engineer, and founder of of Ultra-Flex Music.
Fredlocks has worked with numerous artists as a producer, engineer, arranger and composer. His live reggae band: Fredlocks Asher & Ultra Flex Crew, have been performing and touring for over a decade.
They have released a variety of musically diverse reggae albums, including Wisdom, Dub Life, and Ultra Flex Volume One and Rain Single. Fredlocks' latest releases for 2014 are Race the Final Frontier a solo album and Ultra Flex Volume Two a Various Artist Compilation Album, both are now available on iTunes.
